5. Use of usage data; use of analysis tools
a. We would like to tailor the content of our websites to your interests as closely as possible and thereby improve our offering to you. We use the Google Analytics analysis tool to find out the preferences of users of our websites and to identify the sections that are most popular.
b. When this analysis tool is used, data may be transmitted to servers in the USA for processing. In this respect, please note the following: according to the European Union, the United States does not have an ‘appropriate level of protection’ for the processing of personal data as required by EU standards. b. Art. 6 par. 1 point b RGPD represents the legal basis for the processing of personal data for the purposes of initiating or performing a contract concluded with you.
c. If the processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of our legal obligations (e.g. for data retention), Art. 6 par. 1 point c RGPD will be the legal basis.
d. We also process personal data to protect our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 par. 1 point f RGPD. These legitimate interests include maintaining the functionality of our IT systems, the marketing of our own and external products and services and the legally required documentation of business contacts.

 

8. Deletion of your personal data
We will also delete your personal data as soon as the purpose for which it was collected and processed by our services no longer applies. After this date, data may only be stored if this is necessary under the applicable laws, regulations or other legal provisions of the European Union or a Member State of the European Union.

a. As a data subject, you have the right to access your data (Art. 15 RGPD), rectification (Art. 16 RGPD), erasure (Art. 17 RGPD), restriction of processing (Art. 18 RGPD) and data portability (Art. 20 RGPD).
